Front Porch Sweat

So, if you know me personally you've probably heard me talk about Zuzana. To just sum things up for you, Zuzana is my hero. I stumbled across this while searching Youtube for yoga positions about eight or nine months back. It's only 20 seconds long. I'll wait here while you go get your mind blown.......

OK. Now you're informed. Moving along...that 20 second long headstand moved me to check out more of her videos and eventually make my way to her website bodyrock,tv . I had been walking/running, riding bikes, and doing quite a bit of yoga and was ready to step up my game. Zuzana's workouts came to me at the perfect time. I did one routine and have been hooked ever since. I have never felt stronger and more in control in my entire life. I can honestly say that bodyrock.tv has changed my life.

This is the workout that I did tonight Hot Viral Sweat. It's one of the few that she does in real time, so those of you who do not yet have an interval timer won't have any problem jumping right in. Since the weather is getting nicer I've started doing my workouts on the front porch. I enjoy the fresh air and I feel like if I think people are watching me then I push myself harder. I literally had sweat dripping into my eyes during the last half. It was great. The entire workout is only 16 minutes long, but don't let that fool you. I'm pretty sure I barfed the first time I did this one. Most of the time I like to finish up my workouts with 20 minutes or so of interval skipping. I've been feeling less than stellar the past couple days so I opted out tonight. Those of you who don't have a jump rope GET ONE. It will blast the fat right off of you. Scouts honor.

I haven't had dinner yet. I was thinking about making some sort of chili-zucchini and chickpea something. I just went shopping after work today so I've got a kitchen full of options. I'll be posting whatever creation I come up with later.

Now go workout! NOW!

Get sweaty.

I did that one last night. It was an ass kicker for sure, but when I was done I only wanted to do more! Still waiting for my interval timer, but in the mean time I just went by the general amount of reps per interval and set a timer for 4 minutes. I felt like I was gonna die. Now I look better naked.

  2. ^ to clarify, I went by the general number of reps per interval that most people were posting in their comments on the site. I went with 5 of each exercise alternating. Not sure how many I did, but I do know that I didn't think I was gonna make it. WORK!
